Advisory Board
Our executive advisory board is a group of key instant messaging business
leaders that provide invaluable technology and business guidance to assist
FaceTime in establishing key partnerships with customers and leading technology
providers. They work with our management team and provide invaluable input into
the strategic vision of our company and advice on how we can best execute on
our goals of providing innovative value added solutions for enterprises using
IM Business Applications.
Henry Carter
Henry Carter is a consultant and member of the Bipartisan California Commission
on Internet Political Practices. Carter was most recently Assistant General
Counsel and Vice President for E*TRADE Group, Inc. and formerly Vice President
and Chief Compliance Officer for E*Trade Securities, Inc. In these roles, he
was responsible for compliance-related matters involving corporate and
securities laws and practices from both a domestic and international
perspective. In addition, Carter is an expert on Internet strategies.
Mr. Carter received his Bachelor of Arts degree with the cum laude distinction
from Pepperdine University and his Doctor of Law from Georgetown University Law
Center.
Tom D. Jones
Tom Jones is a senior executive with over 20 years of high technology
operations experience. He was President & Chief Operating Officer of MDL
Information Systems Inc, a publicly traded software company. As Chief Executive
Officer, Jones helped build StrataSource, a new start up company in the Managed
Services market space. Jones has also led and managed a 600 person sales force
as a Senior Vice President of PeopleSoft, Inc. Jones has served on the board of
directors of Nexprise/Ventro, MDL, Crosslogix and On Q Technology. In addition
Jones has served on the Stanford University Community Resource Group. Jones
served 6 years in the United States Marine Corps.
Mr. Jones received his Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval
Academy and his Master of Science in Systems Management from the University of
Southern California.
Lewis Knopf
Lewis Knopf is the former Managing Director of Collaboration Services at
Reuters. In this capacity Knopf was responsible for group-wide coordination of
Reuters collaboration strategy and delivery program. Knopf has held several key
management positions in systems and product development and marketing in a 17
year career with Reuters.
Knopf was responsible for driving continuous improvement and enhancement to
Reuters Information change and risk management programs. Knopf has also held
the position of Executive Vice President of technical development for Reuters
Money Transaction Systems, with additional responsibilities for facilitating
common architecture initiatives across Reuters trading divisions.
Knopf has extensive experience in both the technical and financial communities,
having spent numerous years with both Citibank and J. Aron and Co. prior to
joining Reuters. Mr. Knopf earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial
Engineering from Lehigh University.
Paul Matteucci
Paul Matteucci joined US Venture Partners, as a Venture Partner in 2001. Prior
to joining to USVP, Matteucci was an early pioneer in the Voice Over IP space
as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of HearMe Corporation.
Matteucci currently serves as a Director on the Boards of HelloBrain and
Homestead. In addition, Matteucci has been an advisor to other Silicon Valley
Companies and Venture Capital firms including Accel Partners, Redpoint Ventures
and Sutter Hill Ventures.
Matteucci also speaks and writes articles on business strategy for technology
startups, organizational development, Internet business models, Voice Over IP,
and advertising and branding in new media.
Mr. Matteucci has a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University
and a Master of Arts degree in International Studies from the Johns Hopkins
University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of the Pacific.
Geoffrey Moore
Geoffrey Moore is Chairman and Founder of The Chasm Group, a consulting
practice that provides business and marketing strategy and organizational
services to prominent high-technology companies. Moore is also a venture
partner with Mohr, Davidow Ventures, a prestigious Silicon Valley venture
capital firm. Previously, Moore was a principal and partner at Regis McKenna,
Inc. and an executive at Rand Information Systems, Enhansys, and Mitem. A
business celebrity, Moore is the author of four best-selling books, Crossing
The Chasm, Inside the Tornado, The Gorilla Game, and Living on the Faultline.
Mr. Moore holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University and a Doctor
of Philosophy in English literature from the University of Washington.
Raul Mujica
Raul Mujica was the former General Manager and Vice President, AOL Instant
Messaging Business Unit, AOL Time Warner. Mujica led efforts to enhance the
ease-of-use and relevance to over 30M consumers as well as monetizing the
business. Mujica joined AOL via the Netscape acquisition, leading product
strategy and development of communications services used by over 70M consumers
including WebMail, Message Boards, and Address Book.
Prior to Netscape, Mujica launched and managed software businesses in the
messaging, groupware, and data warehousing markets for Hewlett-Packard.
Mr. Mujica holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Georgetown University
and a Master of Business Administration in Economics from New York University.
Jeff Pulver
Jeff Pulver, President and Chief Executive Officer of pulver.com, Inc., is a
globally respected visionary with more than a decade of experience in Internet
and IP communications. Pulver is the author of "Internet Telephone Toolkit"
(1996/Wiley), publisher of "The Pulver Report" and creator of the widely
attended and influential Voice on the Net (VON) conferences.
Pulver is also founder of The VON Coalition, Free World Dialup and LibreTel as
well as co-founder of Vonage, WHP Wireless, pulverInnovations, VON Magazine and
Digisip.
A true Internet Telephony pioneer, Pulver's expertise is widely utilized within
the IP communications and telecommunications industries, where he provides
advisory services to start-ups and industry bellwethers alike.
Glen Vondrick
Glen Vondrick is the former Chief Executive Officer of FaceTime Communications.
Having been with FaceTime since 1999 he served as Vice President, WorldWide
Sales and as VP and General Manager of the iCRM Group. Under Glen's guidance,
the FaceTime customer base grew exponentially every quarter while revenues
simultaneously doubled in successive quarters. Glen has over 20 years of high
technology leadership experience including executive level positions in public
and private companies.
Prior to FaceTime, Glen held the position of Senior Vice President of Americas
Operations at Inference Corporation, an industry leading supplier of customer
care knowledge management solutions for call centers and internet self service.
Prior to Inference, he developed and built the highly successful, worldwide OEM
technology licensing program for Autodesk Inc. after holding Vice President of
Sales positions and building winning sales teams at start-up ventures Ithaca
Software, CADG, and at Fortune 500 companies Prime Computer Inc. and Honeywell
Information Systems.
Mr. Vondrick is a graduate of the University of Arizona.
