The FaceTime Communications Business Proposition

FaceTime Communications created its Channel Partner Program to enable reseller, system integrator and distribution partners to drive business in the growing Web Security and Secure Unified Communications markets.

The Internet is no longer just about web traffic and email, it's dominated by Web 2.0 applications such as IM, P2P, VoIP, and social networking. Add the exploding adoption of Unified Communications platforms that integrate IM, voice and video for increased productivity and collaboration and its clear the landscape has changed. The Web Security market is anticipated to reach $1Billion in 2009, with a growth rate of 20-25% per year. In fact, Gartner is recommending that companies look at augmenting their existing URL filtering deployments with a broader Secure Web Gateway solution that must at a minimum, include URL filtering, malicious-code detection and filtering, and application controls for popular Web-based applications, such as instant messaging (IM) and Skype. Gartner also predicts that by the end of 2011, IM will be the de facto tool for voice, video and text chat and forecasts the worldwide market for enterprise IM to grow to $688 million in 2010. In addition, Gartner advocates the use of enterprise grade IM systems from Unified Communications vendors such as Microsoft and IBM and suggests they be protected by IM hygiene or security services provided by companies such as FaceTime. Partnership Levels

Premier Partner

FaceTime Premier Partner status represents the highest level of reseller certification. It is reserved for partners who have made a significant commitment to actively sell FaceTime solutions, maintain a well-trained sales force, and provide first-line technical support to end users.

Premier Partners have FaceTime as a strategic solution within their portfolio of security products, and enjoy exclusive benefits such as 24x7 priority technical support, field-based regional sales managers and priority marketing funds. The Premier Partner level is for organizations that make a significant investment in FaceTime products through a combination of:

Premier Partners actively participate with FaceTime in joint planning and development of a mutually strong relationship. FaceTime in return will provide the highest level of marketing, sales and technical support.

Authorized Partner

FaceTime Authorized Partner status requires a solid understanding of how to sell and support FaceTime products. Authorized Partners have committed to maintaining a prosperous business relationship with FaceTime and are recognized and rewarded for that commitment. Authorized Partners will demonstrate that they have qualified skills, revenue achievements and have successfully sold security solutions. This partner level enjoys an exceptional benefits portfolio plus access to FaceTime internal resources that supplement sales, as well as marketing tools and support.

Distribution Partner

Distribution provides a vital function for FaceTime Communications' worldwide partners.
