FaceTime Wins SC Magazine Readers Trust Award for Best IM Security Product

Judges Select FaceTime Enterprise Edition over Akonix, Barracuda, Secure Computing and Symantec for Second Consecutive Year

FOSTER CITY, CALIF. - February 13, 2007 - FaceTime Communications, the leading provider of solutions for securing and managing IM, P2P and Web-based greynets, today announced that for the second consecutive year, SC Magazine has awarded its prestigious Reader Trust Award for Best IM Security Solution to FaceTime for FaceTime Enterprise Edition.

Winners in the 10th Annual SC Magazine Award Program were announced and honored last week in San Francisco during the RSA Conference, the world's leading information security event. A judging panel of carefully selected chief security officers examined more than 400 entries in 20 categories. More than 9,000 readers also participated in the selection process, voting on the publication's Website for the products they trust for key IT security responsibilities.

FaceTime Enterprise Edition received top honors as the winner in the IM Security category over finalists Akonix, Barracuda Networks, Secure Computing and Symantec. FaceTime also won the award in 2006.

"As we witness more and more incidents of data theft and exposure, it becomes obvious that our IT security practitioners and companies that support them are critical in today's business world," said SC Magazine Editor-in-Chief Illena Armstrong.

"Instant messaging security and compliance is becoming increasingly important for organizations that rely on consumer IM applications or enterprise-class products such as Microsoft LCS and IBM Sametime," said Frank Cabri, vice president of marketing for FaceTime Communications. "Forward-looking organizations are incorporating IM as a collaborative business tool and are seeking management solutions that protect against the rapidly changing threat landscape, comply with new federal regulations such as e-discovery, and guard against information leakage."

FaceTime Enterprise Edition is used by the world's largest organizations to manage, secure and control IM, P2P, spyware and other greynet applications. It provides user policy management, message hygiene, day zero worm protection, comprehensive regulatory and e-discovery compliance, and network protection against user circumvention. It can also be deployed to detect and prevent spyware infections at the Internet gateway - before it infects the desktop. Enterprise Edition combines FaceTime's IMAuditor™ on the LAN with Real-Time Guardian™ at the gateway for a complete, end-to-end security, management and compliance solution. It works with all public and enterprise IM clients. For more information, visit FaceTime on the web at www.facetime.com.
